I’m thrilled to present a detailed look at our latest project, the 3D commercial teaser for Edge Energy Drink. This project was crafted with immense precision and creativity, combining the strengths of a talented team and leveraging a range of cutting-edge tools to deliver a striking visual narrative.

  • Vahid’s Expertise: Focused on crafting the comprehensive environment with Maya, Vahid’s meticulous attention to detail set the foundation for the entire teaser by providing a rich and engaging backdrop.

  • Ashkan’s VFX Magic: Bringing the project to life, Ashkan’s work in Cinema 4D added impactful visual effects that enhanced the dynamic feel of the teaser, capturing the essence of energy and movement.

  • My Role as Director: As the director and 3D artist, I was responsible for overseeing the project’s aesthetic direction. My tasks included applying realistic textures, managing light setups, rendering the final scenes using Blender, and compositing elements together to create a smooth and captivating visual experience.

Tools and Technologies

 

To bring this project to fruition, we employed a suite of advanced software tools, each chosen for its capability to enhance certain aspects of the production:

 

  • Maya: Used extensively by Vahid to create the detailed and immersive environment models, providing a realistic setting that enhances the product’s appeal.
  • Blender: Served as the primary software for rendering, allowing us to efficiently produce high-quality visual outputs.
  • Substance Painter: Utilized for the application of textures, giving surfaces a lifelike appearance that captures the viewer’s attention.
  • Nuke: Applied for compositing, this tool helped weave together various elements seamlessly into a cohesive final product.
  • After Effects: Used for post-processing and final visual adjustments, ensuring the teaser is polished and engaging.
  • Cinema 4D (C4D): Used by Ashkan for crafting dynamic VFX elements, adding energy and excitement to the teaser.
