A Procedural Motion Design in Blender
This project is a procedural motion design created in Blender, utilizing Geometry Nodes and the Hair System to craft an abstract, frequency-inspired animation. The idea was to represent sound waves visually, forming an energetic and futuristic motion that aligns with SyncVault’s brand identity.
The animation begins with a series of noisy, distorted curves, dynamically shaped through Geometry Nodes. These curves gradually smooth out into clean waveforms, symbolizing clarity emerging from chaos. This transition guides the viewer toward the SyncVault logo, placed at the center, surrounded by a complex network of animated curves—designed using the Hair System in Blender—to evoke the movement of sound frequencies in space.
For the shading and lighting, I used emissive materials that shift dynamically between SyncVault’s brand colors, adding vibrancy and depth to the scene. The camera animation was carefully choreographed to showcase the transformation process while keeping the focus on the logo reveal.
In Blender, I enhanced the visuals using glare effects and lens distortion, adding a more cinematic and immersive feel to the composition. The final color grading was completed in After Effects, ensuring a polished and cohesive look that aligns with SyncVault’s visual identity.
